We are searching for a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical and administrative functions within our nursing facility.
The Director of Nursing (DON) job entails ensuring excellent quality care, great customer service, timely interventions and treatments, providing for patient comfort, safety and personal care by direct care staff. In collaboration with facility administration, the DON allocates department resources in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. Collaborates with other department heads, medical professionals, consultants, and organizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to develop, support and coordinate resident care, related administrative functions, and to represent the interests of the facility.
