Gateway Rehab, a leading provider of adolescent inpatient services, seeks a skilled Recreational Support Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develops, coordinates, and implements therapeutic and recreational activities programming.
- Supervises patient recreational activities and ensures proper supervision by staff members when not present.
- Coordinates 12-step fellowship meeting schedules and implements evidence-based practices in therapeutic recreational activities.
- Acts as a member of the treatment team to provide support for therapists and counselors by engaging patients in therapeutic activities that support their treatment goals.
- Ensures the safety of patients, including crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of age-specific growth and development, with a focus on adolescents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
