SUMMARY
This position reports to the Dean of General Studies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver curriculum, monitor, and make recommendations as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
- Effective management of the classroom and/or laboratory.
- Promote and engage in student recruitment, retention and completion goals fostering a culture of professionalism and inclusive learning.
- Monitor and assess student learning outcomes and provide timely and frequent feedback to students on academic performance.
- Participate in advisory and/or institutional committees.
- Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay current in field and/or discipline.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITION
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Mathematics OR Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Statistics, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce and student population
- Ability to use student learning management systems
- Culturally competent, including strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to engage and build relationships with constituents and underrepresented communities.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.

HOURS: Flexibility is needed as schedule may vary to accommodate the needs of both day, evening, and weekend students.
