Job Summary:
We’re looking for a hands-on ERP Developer with deep expertise in Infor VISUAL and a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to customize, enhance, and continuously improve our ERP system through code and configuration. You’ll work at the heart of our operations, using your programming skills and business acumen to streamline processes, ensure data accuracy, and enable smarter decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize macros within the Infor VISUAL ERP system using VBScript to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Develop and deploy extensions and integrations to VISUAL using the VISUAL API Tookit.
- Implement professional SDLC to ensure that new features can be developed, tested, and deployed quickly and reliably.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and implement software solutions that enhance business processes.
- Perform regular system audits and code reviews to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ERP system, providing timely support to end-users.
- Design and implement custom reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across various departments.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and proper integration with other enterprise systems.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Infor VISUAL ERP and related technologies to recommend and implement system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ERP systems and manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in C#, VB.NET, and/or VBScript and familiar with the VISUAL API Toolkit.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with MRP/ERP systems, specifically Infor VISUAL.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
