What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager / Estimator position at GCM Inc?
We are a respected Commercial General Contractor and are looking to add an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan review
- Pre-bid meetings
- Request for proposals
- Ability to bid using takeoffs
- Budgeting and Bidding
- Project Subcontractor Buyout
- Able to work from the office or remotely as required
Willingness to PM and or assist PMs as needed:
- Procurement of materials
- Contract negotiations
- Scheduling
- Superintendent handoff meetings
- Jobsite meetings
Opportunity

Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in commercial construction estimating
- Experience with Retail, Restaurants, Multi-Family, office space, etc.
- Ability to read and explain Civil and Architectural blueprints
- Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and via technology
- Must be a person of integrity who can earn the respect of our team
- Must be knowledgeable yet willing to learn and grow
- Ability to work alone without a support staff
