Human Resources Manager
Job Summary : The Corporate HR Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives of our hotel properties. This role is responsible for overseeing HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, developing talent acquisition strategies, and enhancing employee engagement across all levels of the organization. Additionally, the Corporate HR Manager will monitor and track employee hours and performance, ensuring that labor practices are compliant and that performance metrics align with company goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality HR, with the ability to manage multiple properties and support diverse teams. Location Laramie, Wyoming
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic HR Management :
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Provide guidance and support to hotel management teams on HR-related matters.
- Monitor HR metrics and suggest improvements.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment :
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure high-quality candidates are selected.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other talent sources.
- Implement onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Employee Relations :
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management to promote a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues.
- Training and Development :
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Coordinate with hotel management to ensure that training programs are delivered effectively.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Compensation and Benefits :
- Manage compensation structures and ensure competitive salary packages.
- Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular salary surveys to benchmark industry standards.
- Compliance and Legal :
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy.
- Performance Management :
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and recognition.
- Monitoring and Tracking :
- Monitor and track employee hours to ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.
- Oversee timekeeping systems and ensure accurate reporting of hours worked.
- Analyze labor costs and suggest optimization strategies.
- Track employee performance metrics and work closely with management to address performance issues.
- Ensure that performance evaluations are regularly conducted and align with organizational objectives.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) :
- Champion DEI initiatives and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure all HR practices and policies support diversity and inclusion.
- HR Technology and Systems :
- Oversee the implementation and management of HR information systems (HRIS).
- Utilize HR data to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
