**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and organized HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of HR practices and a passion for supporting an inclusive, employee-focused culture. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training and development. We are looking for an individual with experience in Microsoft programs, SAP, and reporting data such as KPI's.
This individual needs to be driven, willing to help wherever it is needed, and able to work well under pressure. Day to day tasks could be, but not limited to, setting up meetings, processing invoices, and scheduling interviews.
This is a salaried position, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.
This role requires a
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:**
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating candidate selection.
- Coordinate and participate in onboarding and orientation for new employees.
2. **Employee Relations:**
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and issues, ensuring a supportive environment.
-Proactive talent ready to collaborate with management and employees to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution in a fair and confidential manner.
3. **Performance Management:**
- Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and training to managers on best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed.
4. **Training and Development:**
- Identify training needs and assist in the development of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on HR policies and procedures, performance management, and compliance topics.
5. **Compliance and Policy Management:**
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
6. **Compensation and Benefits:**
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.
- Provide information and support to employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries.
7. **HR Projects and Initiatives:**
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing company culture and employee engagement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR department.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required.
