Neuroscience Advanced Practitioner Residency Program
We are seeking an individual for the Neuroscience Advanced Practice Residency Program at the Geisinger Neuroscience Institute.
Job Duties:
- Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic tasks under the supervision of a physician to educate Advanced Practitioner Residents in neuroscience knowledge, patient care decision-making, and patient care management.
- Collaborate with neurologists and neurosurgeons to provide care to new or established patients, ensure continuity of care, and advocate for patients.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and patients, and collaborate with medical staff members, nursing personnel, and other departmental staff to coordinate patient care requirements.
Position Requirements:
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved physician assistant program (or predecessor organization)
- Current NCCPA certification
- Pennsylvania State licensure
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center:
