Objective
The Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing initiatives consistent with Gemaire's overall marketing and e-commerce strategies. This includes (but is not limited to) email marketing strategy and execution, marketing automation, social media management, and paid advertising (PPC) campaigns. This position will provide strategic and tactical recommendations on messaging, processes, and tools to increase overall customer engagement, optimize lead generation/nurturing, and drive e-commerce adoption. The DMS is also responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external staff to create original content, assets, and campaigns on social media that drive brand awareness and promote a positive company image.

Graphic Design (50%)
Designing: Creating visual concepts for digital and printed materials, such as websites, brochures, social media posts, and more.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or Degree related field, or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience with graphic design and email
marketing automation.
Work Schedule: Hybrid Schedule, working 2 days minimum at the office/branch a week.

Job Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Graphic Design (50%)
Designing: Creating visual concepts for digital and printed materials, such as websites, brochures, social media posts, and more.
- Managing: Overseeing the design process from start to finish, reviewing junior designers' work, and providing feedback.
- Collaborating: Working with team members to understand design requirements and ensure consistency in branding.
- Mentoring: Providing creative direction and mentoring junior designers.
- Staying current: Keeping up with design trends and ensuring the final product meets high standards.
- Using software: Being proficient with graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Email Marketing Automation & Campaign Management (40%)
- Develop strategies and campaigns that drive digital engagement and demand generation across existing and potential clients (installers & contractors).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, build, schedule, and optimize email campaigns, integrated holistically with other channels’ marketing campaigns.
- Analyze, optimize, and report on the performance of all campaign types to drive digital engagement, revenue growth, brand awareness, and subscriber list growth.
- Campaign types include promotional campaigns, new product and program announcements, ecommerce adoption & lifecycle growth campaigns, new customer nurturing & re-targeting, etc.
- Leverage customer segmentation to efficiently and effectively drive content creation and campaign targeting. Maintain data hygiene within the automation tools to ensure accurate segmentation and targeting.
- Create nurturing and scoring programs to support sales and marketing growth objectives.
- Make recommendations for marketing automation or technology enhancements based on company & customer needs and industry trends/innovations.
- Understand and ensure compliance and opt-in policies are followed throughout all email marketing campaigns. Know and comply with CAN-SPAM and other privacy laws.
- Social Media & PPC (Paid Advertising) (10%)
- Design, plan, and execute the Gemaire social media strategy. Support and align with marketing strategies, programs, and messaging holistically with other Gemaire channels and teams.
- Work collaboratively with the team lead to develop a monthly content marketing strategy, tactics, and editorial plan (calendar) that aligns with and supports business objectives.
- Create and publish timely, original, relevant, audience-specific, high-quality content & campaigns that generate engagement, goodwill, loyalty, and e-commerce adoption with Gemaire’s website, apps, and field organizations.
- Maintain awareness of competitive organizations and current industry news.
- Develop and manage new PPC programs, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Create synergistic ad campaigns that support email, social, and other marketing campaigns, driving traffic to Gemaire.com and downloads of Gemaire mobile apps
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with graphic design and email marketing automation.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.
- Experience building and executing email campaigns utilizing comprehensive list segmentation, lifecycle/drip automation, and triggered events within an ESP.
- Must be customer-focused and empathetic, with a passion for understanding consumer behavior, including knowledge of the marketing funnel and customer purchase journeys.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking capabilities and a high level of initiative.
- Exceptional communication (spelling, grammar, creative writing) skills.
- Experienced with web analytics (Google Analytics or similar). GA, IQ certification is a plus.
- Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads experience is a plus.
- Mobile marketing experience is a plus.
