Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our delivery operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with Amazon’s high standards for safety,quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily operations, including route planning, scheduling, and on-time package delivery.
-Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and performance.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and Amazon DSP program requirements.
-Lead, coach, and mentor delivery associates, dispatchers, and team leads to achieve operational excellence.
- Analyze performance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
-Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork across the organization.
-Collaborate with Amazon representatives to meet delivery expectations and maintain a strong working relationship.
-Manage resources and staffing to meet fluctuating delivery demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics,
transportation, or delivery services.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in logistics software, tools, and data analysis to improve operational performance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
