Hair and Makeup Artist

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair and Makeup Artist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in makeup application, with the ability to enhance clients' natural beauty while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to staying updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques.

Hair styles include straightening or adding curls.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional makeup application services for photoshoots.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired looks, offering advice on makeup styles that suit their features.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to create complementary looks tailored to individual skin tones. Must be able to work on all skin tones, ethnicities, and ages.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, ensuring all tools and products meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain a full makeup kit to be able to cater to all skin tones and types.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist in a retail or salon environment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Experience in photography settings is advantageous for creating looks that photograph well.
• Certification in cosmetology or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 12 per week
