Overview
Electric Boat Information Technology (EBIT) has an opening in End User Services group at Quonset Point in support of processing IT requests in a timely manner and creating a working relationship with IT & Telecommunications Vendors.
Responsibilities of these roles within EBIT D604 include:
- Development of sustainable, innovative and cost effective business solutions in support of Electric Boat IT Telecommunications
- Providing technical and administrative IT support for EB end users and coordination of IT service delivery as necessary
- Providing technical guidance and EB project management and oversight in support of IT service vendor project efforts
- Interfacing effectively with EB users and management, and contracted IT service providers at all levels
- Contributing to diverse IT teams to manage assigned tasks within budget and schedule
- Investigation of new technologies to deliver effective tools to the Electric Boat workforce
- Mobile Business Account Management
This position is located at Quonset Point, RI.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 to 6 plus years of experience in Communications field
- ServiceNow knowledge, experience processing incidents & requests
- Ability to research and propose technical solutions to support business requirements
- The ability to work independently and as a member of functional work teams
- Internal candidates must come from outside Operations (Casciano/Gabriel)
Desired: (Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas is preferred.)
- Associates degree
- Cisco Call Manager experience
- IT and Telecommunications experience
- IT Project management experience
- Working knowledge of Electric Boat IT business systems
