The Assistant Manager for Media Strategy and Planning will form the strategic vision for individual nameplates and be responsible for the overall media planning process. This individual will guide the media operations process, as well as develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external business partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop fresh insights to drive innovation and keep up with current/future trends in media while enabling a smarter and more effective media strategy and buying decisions.

Work jointly with the Advertising and Marketing teams to understand brand initiatives, objectives, and goals to help drive the most effective media plans.
-
Coordinate the allotted budget and drive appropriate investments and mix.
-
Integrate media ideas with within the Chevrolet Marketing, Sales, Field, CX, Experiential, and Branded Entertainment Teams, along with Creative AOR (Commonwealth) to facilitate the coordinated tiered National, Zone, LMA approach to all media channels.

Meet with media partners and evaluate offerings for brand fit.

Liaison with GM Research and the PDM Teams in the development of report outs, mix models, identify and drive media KPIs across all channels and optimization plans.

Develop and foster a strong relationship with GM Global Media Operations team

Work with partners to identify and implement new media strategies

Collaborate with cross functional teams to share creative standard methodologies across platforms.
- Develop creative matrix for 1:1 audience marketing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong background in Marketing and/or media experience, and managing one-to-one targeted campaigns.

Solid understanding of all areas of media with familiarity with the various media platforms, technology, and processes.

Previous experience working with or directly for media agencies.

Ability to multi-task across a number of diverse projects with challenging deadlines.

Outstanding oral and written communication
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
