Job Overview

The General Plumbing Supply Human Resources department provides support to 500 employees in NJ and NY. The ideal HR Coordinator will have excellent organizational skills, experience presenting training materials and be accustomed to a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the new hire onboarding process from job offer through to new hire orientation and training, including background screening, I-9 completion and forklift certification exams.
• Provide answers for employee inquiries relating to HR and Payroll.
• Process employee changes in Paycom (HRIS).
• Administer DOT programs including annual MVR review & random CDL drug testing.
• Respond to verification of employment requests and state unemployment claims.
• Manage personnel files and assist on other projects as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in the Human Resources field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Paycom helpful
• Familiarity with NJ & NY labor laws
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
