What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator position at Generations?
The Staffing Coordinator at Carmel Village is responsible for scheduling care staff in Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained for the delivery of care services. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
- 8 Hour Shifts on weekdays and/or weekends
- on-call as needed
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
Requirements:
- One (1) year of relevant experience as a scheduler in a senior living or healthcare environment.
- Ensure compliance of budgeted hours.
- Responsible for all staff call-ins. (Company phone provided.) Will be required to work shifts when short-staffed.
- Experience as a caregiver or CNA preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate to all employees face to face each shift you are working.

Assist with removing obstacles that are hindering staff performance.

Knowledge of or ability to learn WordPerfect and Microsoft Excel; ability to use a computer and other office equipment.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees.

Ability to maintain and organize workspace and work product.

Certification in CPR and First Aid

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
