Job Description:
The Infection Preventionist-Infection RN will develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to ensure the quality of patient care as it relates to the investigation, control, and prevention of infections and communicable diseases within the nursing center.
Responsibilities include outcome-process surveillance, outbreak management, employee health development, and education programs implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours in order to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
