As an Accountant with GENEX, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will assist in month-end and year-end close, audit preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

As an Accountant with GENEX, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will assist in month-end and year-end close, audit preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- General Ledger Management: Prepare and analyze financial reports, generate journal entries, and assist in monthly and yearly financial close.
- Audit & Compliance: Support year-end audits, gather documentation, and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Validate account balances and provide insightful analysis.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare coverage calculations, research financial trends, and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other departments to enhance internal controls and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, recommend cost-saving strategies, and drive operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- A team player with outstanding communication skills
