Responsibilities
- Post journal entries during month-end close.
- Assist with fixed asset retirements and adjustments.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Help with journal entry and reconciliation tracking.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with assessing the effectiveness of control procedures.
- Develop, document and implement procedures that enhance Schneider’s ability to produce timely, quality and accurate financial information.
- Provide reporting for quarterly and annual audits.
- Prepare and submit annual reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1-3 years of entry level accounting and/or internship experience.
- Strong accounting acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
