Responsibilities
- Direct traffic flow on construction sites to ensure safety for workers and the public.
- Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, and front loader trucks as needed.
- Assist in utility locating to prevent damage to underground lines during construction activities.
- Coordinate with construction teams to facilitate smooth operations while paving or building.
- Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with crew members regarding traffic patterns and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and utility locating practices.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.

- Valid driver's license may be required depending on equipment operation needs.
