What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumber position at Genius Talent?
Genius Talent is excited to partner with a prominent construction company in search of an experienced Commercial Plumber. This position is headquartered in Goldsboro, NC, and will extend services to the surrounding counties.
Responsibilities :
- Dig, install, test, and backfill underground sanitary and grease piping
- Rough-in new drain waste and vent (DWV) and domestic water piping
- Install roof drains and storm drainage piping
- Thread, install, and test building gas piping
- Braze, install, and service medical gas piping
- Install various plumbing fixtures, including water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, and drinking fountains
- Install plumbing equipment such as water heaters, boilers, storage tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, tankless water heaters, sump pumps, and water filtration systems
- Perform additional tasks such as brazing, threading pipe, grooving, soldering, and welding
- Read and interpret construction and coordination drawings using Procore and other construction software on tablets
- Work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Follow all safety precautions on the job
- Assist in training less experienced crew members
- Report to the Project Manager and adhere to all company policies and procedures
