Job Description:
This is a non-managerial position that reports to the Senior Settlement Lead. Under general supervision, provides key support including performance of a wide variety of specialized administrative functions involving compiling and arranging data, making computations, laying out and preparing reports, processing, and coding documents, and maintaining specialized and comprehensive records and filing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Assist the Controller to monitor the financial information in D365 of Genox Transportation, Inc. and Genox West Transportation, LLC.
- Sets up and prepares statistical reports.
- Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with a variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the organization.
- Duties and tasks require independent analysis and independent judgment and reflect substantial variety and complexity.
- Performs complex office work such as document processing, record-keeping and report compilation.
- Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity.
- Has a detailed knowledge of company and/or department procedures related to work-performed
- May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
- This job often represents the top level of knowledge and specialization in the practices, procedures, and precedents of the department with a low level of supervision.
Daily Tasks
- Answer questions from drivers.
- Maintain equipment list
Weekly Tasks
- Maintain reconciliations for multiple balance sheet accounts
- Enter driver expenses into settlements.
- Assist in driver orientation with the following topics/forms
o Complete the following forms: Operating Agreement, Operating/Capital Equipment Lease, Promissory Note, Account Deduction Authorization, Estimated Settlement Disbursement, Texas Insurance Agreement Form, Insurance Policy Worksheet and GPS Addendum.
o Explain the Settlement process
o Confirm that paperwork is fully executed
o Add new drivers to insurance
- Review and close driver settlements
- Create Settlement Report via SSRS
- Create ACH transactions in JPM to vendors and drivers
Monthly Tasks:
- Calculate escrow interest for owner operators
- Create and input month end journal entries.
As Needed Tasks:
- Calculate the cost amount of each base plate on our IRP account and charge owner operator.
- Process child support orders for owner operators
- Create standing deduction in TMW
- Enter information into Expertpay
- Add/Delete to child support lead word document
BACK-UP RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Order 2290’s for new equipment
- Contracts for owner operators as needed
