Job Summary:
Genserve is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for reconciling our outstanding invoices, filing expense reports and purchase orders, and maintaining the company's expenses.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, maintaining vendor profiles, and processing vendor checks.
· Processing due invoices for payments by verifying invoices, bills, and checks for accuracy and appropriateness prior to payment.
· Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
· Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used.
· Maintains a filing system for financial information, files, and records.
· Tracks expenses in a general ledger, processes expense reports, and prepares analyses of accounts.
· Issues checks for accounts payable.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Possesses knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping principles, as well as of any relevant accounting software.
· Is knowledgeable about accounts payable and the process of maintaining general ledgers.
· Demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Exhibits a strong regard for organizing and prioritizing, as well as an ability to meet deadlines.
· Proficiency with invoicing and vendor management software.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field preferred.
· 3 years related experience preferred.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
