The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to leadership and staff, ensuring HR policies, procedures, and programs are effectively implemented. This role requires frequent travel to various facilities and outpatient clinics to provide hands-on HR support, address workforce challenges, and promote a strong culture of employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with facility leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals and workforce needs.
- Travel to multiple sites on a weekly basis or as needed to support managers and employees with HR-related matters.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
- Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations, ensuring fair and compliant resolution of employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding of new employees.
- Support employee development through training initiatives, coaching, and career pathing.
- Lead HR initiatives related to engagement, retention, and workplace culture within the substance treatment environment.
- Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational changes.
- Address workplace concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining strong documentation practices.
- Support benefits administration, leave management, and ADA accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of Human Resources experience, with strong expertise in employee relations and conducting workplace investigations.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance treatment environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to travel regularly to multiple locations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred.
