Job Summary:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the preconstruction preparation and strategy of all projects, including:
- Estimating
- Scheduling
- Budgeting
- Project Conditions
- Staffing & Productivity
The successful candidate's responsibilities span a broad spectrum, including but not limited to:
- Client Satisfaction
- Project Planning and Preconstruction
- Cost, Time, and Quality Management
- Contract Administration
- Organizational Development and Growth
- Building and Maintaining the Subcontractor Base
This position involves working directly with the executive team of the company, as well as project managers and superintendents. You will be a collaborative partner in maintaining relationships with our clients and subcontractors. We require excellent communication skills for this position.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have 10 years of experience in wood frame construction, estimating, engineering, or architecture.
- Have experience in the multi-family construction industry, preferably also with tax credit housing.
- Have experience in design-build delivery systems.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive outcomes with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Have an in-depth understanding of construction trades and building systems, documentation processes, operations, and industry knowledge.
- Have solid budgeting and financial experience.
- Possess strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
- Be detail-oriented with a passion for building knowledge.
