The Marketing Department of Combined Insurance, a client company, works in a collaborative and close-knit environment that provides opportunities for growth, autonomy, and career progression.
We are looking for a highly organized project manager with a keen interest in digital platforms and managing marketing programs. This exciting role resides in the Brand, Digital & Marketing Services team and is the perfect opportunity for a mid-level manager with 3-5 years of experience.
Job Summary
The Project Manager will ensure the timely delivery of marketing projects, from intake and project development through production and completion.
This detail-orientated person will create project plans, manage team capacity, interface with internal business owners, and help direct creative agencies and internal resources for a wide variety of projects.
Additionally, the project manager will manage the digital platform for collateral deployment, direct implementation, and managing the vendor.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional able to identify problems, propose solutions and implement fixes. You will possess excellent communication skills and decision-making skills.
Job Responsibilities
Manages cross-functional marketing plans with actionable, tasks, owners, and deadlines
Assists in developing and implementing marketing programs to support products and other initiatives.
Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling, and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.
Coordinates with multiple internal and external stakeholders and gathers relevant information, including business goals, design / messaging information, output specifications, timing, and budget.
Utilizing project management tools (i.e., Workfront, Jira), opens individual project tickets; communicates project timeline, scope and deliverables; and tracks the progress of marketing projects against due dates, identifying potential roadblocks as necessary.
Creates and monitors business level metrics and looks for and executes opportunities to improve department efficiency and processes
Provides ad-hoc marketing support.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, corporate communications, or related field
3-5 years of Project Management experience for a Marketing, Product, or Creative team
Exceptional organizational and time management skills required, with keen attention to detail
Previous experience managing projects and communicating between departments, across all levels of an organization
Enthusiastic self-starter with solution-driven resourcefulness
A positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Collaborative team member and problem-solver
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Workfront
Strong analytical and data skills preferred, with experience organizing large sets of information
Must thrive working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment.
Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results.
