Description
- Analyze and implement statistical process control (SPC) across manufacturing processes and quality operations.
- Troubleshoot and implement Problem-solving methodology, preventive methods, and Value stream process mapping.
- Implement Quality Production Systems POKA-YOKE (mistake-proofing mechanisms) and KAIZEN methods.
- Develop test methods to correlate to field failures for critical components and document Lessons Learned.
- Implement Qualification, statistical and reliability modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, and Weibull analysis.
- Develop FMEAs for Products/Process with high impact changes, Risk Management with Continuous Improvements.
Qualifications
- Six Sigma capable product and Process development, Process Capability (Cp, Cpk), Lean Six Sigma (VSM), Kaizen.
- PFMEA/FMECA, DPMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Probability Risk Assessment, MTBF, Prediction, Verification and Validation, Variability Reduction, Experimental Design, Process Control Methods.
- Experience in Advanced statistical analysis using statistical software.
- Knowledge of material compliance, product regulations worldwide (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, Ca Prop 65 etc.)
- Sig Sigma Certification.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering required.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Quality/Reliability engineering including failure prevention and test methods.
- Effective communication, teamwork and time management skills are necessary.
