What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper Assistant position at Geotech Engineering and Testing?

Geotech Engineering and Testing is currently in search of a Bookkeeper Assistant. This position will be a salary position with benefits and yearly evaluations after a 90-day probation period. The candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, collecting past dues, and keeping track of sick/vacation time, and vendor payments. Process payroll taxes for each payroll period, and process quarterly and yearly taxes.

Requirements:
- Hours will range from 40- 50 Hours a Week.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
- Must have some experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in QuickBooks Accounting.
