What you will do
Your Role: Summer Senior Associate, Consulting:
As a Summer Senior Associate, you are not just an intern – you are a crucial part of the consulting team. At GEP you will:
- Gain core consulting skills across the full project lifecycle.
- Develop negotiation strategies and solutions to problems
- Develop strategic sourcing and process improvement solutions, from research to implementation.
- Work with clients on purchasing strategies, supply chain management, and technology implementation.
- Support digital transformation, change management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Analyze data, generate proposals, and create deliverables.
- Collaborate with industry leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to intellectual capital and business development.
What you should bring
Requirements:
- Postgraduate candidates graduating in June 2025.
- Remote role with travel in week 1 (Early June 2024) and week 10 (early August 2024) of the internship.
- Full US work rights required (Green card or US Citizen) no later than 1 Jan 2024
- Interns may have the opportunity to convert to a full-time role in 2025. Full-time roles are Hybrid and based in either our Chicago, IL or Clark, NJ offices.
- Candidates pursuing MBA degree in business, economics, finance, Supply chain or other STEM fields.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Academic or work experience in business or relevant industries.
- Highly motivated team player with autonomy and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
