Manufacturing Accounting Controller
Position Summary
The Accounting Controller will oversee Geremarie's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Unit Manager and Patrick Industries' corporate finance team to support the company's financial health and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Develop and enforce internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with GAAP.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in alignment with corporate guidelines.
Using the Company’s ERP system, monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, procurement, and operations, to support overall business objectives.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong ERP Software experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
Salary Range
85,000.00 - $99,000.00. The offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market condition and location.
