As Procurement Manager, you’ll take charge of sourcing and procurement strategies that drive operational excellence and efficiency. By collaborating across teams, you’ll ensure the smooth acquisition of materials and services needed to meet our production goals, delivering on time and on budget while exceeding client expectations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Procurement Team: Drive a culture of accountability and excellence for your team of 4 direct reports while supporting high-functioning cross-functional collaboration.
- Achieve Strategic Objectives: Leverage sourcing and procurement strategies to meet annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Coordinate Material Requirements: Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and other teams to forecast and adjust material schedules to meet project milestones.
- Enhance Supply Chain Efficiency: Implement Lean concepts to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure material quality.
- Monitor Performance: Utilize visual management tools and KPIs to drive accountability, address obstacles, and track progress.
- Contract Negotiations: Secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to meet Germfree’s objectives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend strategies for improvement, ensuring the organization stays competitive in sourcing and procurement practices.
- Support Operations: Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support sourcing and procurement requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- MBA, PMP, or Lean Certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience successfully executing sourcing and procurement management roles in a high-tempo, change-driven environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Expertise in decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic reasoning.
- Organizational agility with a focus on delivering results under dynamic conditions.
- Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of risk management.
- Business and financial acumen to manage budgets and assess supplier agreements effectively.
