Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in assigned Medical Assisting courses.
• Facilitate bi-weekly live sessions utilizing Zoom to enhance student interaction.
• Maintain flexible office hours to provide personalized support through one-on-one meetings.
• Offer constructive feedback on assessments, including quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Proactively engage with at-risk students to support their academic success.
• Maintain comprehensive records of student performance and attendance, ensuring timely submission of final grades.
• Participate in professional development activities, meetings, and training sessions.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the Medical Assisting field.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health or a related field (required).
• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Allied Health Management, Public Health, Medical Science, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Medical Assisting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCMA, CMAA, CMA (AAMA), or RMA are highly desirable.
• Previous experience in online teaching is a plus.
• Completion of faculty training prior to commencing teaching responsibilities is expected.
