Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during each class.
- Prepare the necessary equipment and materials for effective course delivery.
- Deliver high-quality instruction, making complex material accessible and understandable.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing appropriate care as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Communicate efficiently with management teams and facility operators.
- Manage inventory of training equipment, ensuring cleanliness and restocking as required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Proficient in managing course records via online platforms.
- Strong organizational skills for preparing and maintaining instructional materials.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Availability to work weekends and potential weekday evenings.
- American Red Cross Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED (or equivalent from the American Heart Association).
- CPR, First Aid, AED Instructor Certification or higher (or equivalent from the American Heart Association).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Willingness to teach at least two weekends per month.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
