Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for PreK-5 math content, ensuring consistency with high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) such as Illustrative Math and Eureka Math.
- Ensure that the content promotes academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and equitable access for all students, focusing especially on multilingual learners and marginalized communities.
- Oversee the production of content to guarantee that all deliverables are timely, of exceptional quality, and remain within budgetary constraints.
- Incorporate contemporary research on instructional practices and math learning science into content development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content seamlessly into our educational platform.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience leading digital content teams, specifically in elementary or middle school curriculum development.
- A solid foundation in instructional design, particularly tailored for multilingual learners and collaborative learning settings.
- Demonstrated experience in creating math curricula that align with Common Core and HQIM standards, such as Illustrative Math or Eureka Math.
- Profound understanding of math learning science and digital instructional design principles.
- Excellent project management abilities and a proven track record in meeting deadlines.
- Superior analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
- A Master’s degree in mathematics education, instructional design, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience teaching K-5 math is advantageous.
- ESL certification or relevant experience in developing instructional content for multilingual learners (MLLs) is preferred.
