As a DOD Managing Instructor specializing in Financial Management, you will be instrumental in enhancing our clients’ financial operations and systems. This remote position offers you the opportunity to significantly influence the performance of financial programs while creating impactful educational materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly engage with government clients to address workload, performance metrics, and any emerging concerns.
- Oversee quality assurance measures to ensure the success of financial programs.
- Develop, prepare, and deliver reports, briefs, and training presentations in accordance with program specifications.
- Manage and mentor contractor staff to guarantee that services and deliverables align with fiscal constraints and timelines, following SOW directives.
- Contribute to diverse aspects of project management, including personnel oversight and project deliverables.
- Formulate and implement both tactical and strategic work plans to uphold high standards of performance.
- Establish and enforce work standards that foster excellence and efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to synchronize work schedules and deadlines effectively.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies in work processes to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Provide strong leadership and maintain open lines of communication with contractor teams, aligning them with organizational objectives.
- Lead training initiatives for new contractors to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Ability to secure and sustain a Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 10 years of experience in a Working Capital Fund environment, with a focus on Depot Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or Financial Management.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a similar context.
- At least 3 years of experience in academic instruction.
