Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons designed for both in-person and remote learning contexts.
- Facilitate structured and interactive instruction during on-campus class sessions.
- Create comprehensive at-home assignments and instructional resources that align with educational objectives.
- Provide virtual instructional tools and conduct regular check-ins with students on remote learning days to monitor progress.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, offering guidance and strategies to enhance at-home learning experiences.
- Adapt lesson plans to optimize both in-person and home-based instruction, integrating technology effectively.
- Assess student work from at-home assignments and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Create a positive and faith-centered learning environment, ensuring clarity in behavioral expectations and deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives to continuously enhance instructional methods.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities accompanied by high emotional intelligence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) for collaborative document creation.
- Familiarity with learning management systems such as RenWeb or Google Classroom.
- Experience with creating spreadsheets and utilizing calculations in Google Sheets.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to respond effectively in a dynamic educational setting.
- Capable of multitasking and managing responsibilities in both physical and online environments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education is the minimum requirement.
- ACSI Certification is required or the willingness to obtain it.
- 2-3 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting, preferably in a hybrid or blended learning environment.
- Previous experience in Christian education is highly desirable.
