Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative math lessons tailored to both on-campus and home-based learning formats.
- Provide interactive and structured instruction during in-person class sessions to facilitate student understanding.
- Create comprehensive at-home assignments and instructional materials that adhere to curriculum objectives.
- Develop virtual instructional resources and conduct regular check-ins with students on remote learning days to ensure academic progress.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents to offer guidance and feedback on at-home learning strategies.
- Organize virtual or in-person parent-teacher conferences to discuss student performance and development.
- Adapt lesson plans to be effective for both instructional styles while integrating technology for a seamless hybrid experience.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure curriculum continuity across the hybrid program.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work from at-home learning days.
- Monitor and support student progress, adjusting instructional methods to address diverse learning needs.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital tools to enhance classroom organization and communication.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education is required.
- ACSI Certification is necessary or the willingness to obtain it.
- 2-3 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting is preferred, especially in a hybrid or blended learning environment.
- Experience in Christian education is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for document creation and collaboration, along with familiarity with hybrid or remote learning technologies.
