Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with Pennsylvania Early Standards, ensuring an engaging, child-centered learning experience.
- Cultivate a nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence, creativity, and respect among students.
- Actively engage children in activities that support listening and spoken language skills, enhancing their learning journey.
- Establish supportive relationships with parents, guiding them in their involvement in their child’s education and communication needs.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educational audiologists, and other professionals to effectively support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining hearing assistive technologies, ensuring seamless integration into the classroom.
- Observe, document, and report on student progress, contributing to IEP meetings and maintaining open communication with families.
- Mentor classroom assistants, fostering a safe and effective learning atmosphere for all students.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles.
