Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of technical documentation for product quotations and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Grasp and implement industry-specific commercial terminology to aid distributors, customers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with the sales director to achieve regional sales objectives and formulate strategic business plans.
- Expand and safeguard the client portfolio through the establishment of relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Analyze market data to uncover growth opportunities and devise strategies to capitalize on them.
- Exhibit market access expertise, address challenges, and communicate effective strategies to fulfill customer requirements.
- Contribute to proposal development, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Drive business initiatives with key accounts, including consultants, veterinarians, feed companies, and large dairies.
- Remain informed about local and federal regulations impacting the industry.
- Lead new project bidding and negotiate agreements with customers.
- Sustain strong partnerships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and enhance technical and professional expertise.
- Execute both long- and short-term sales strategies.
- Provide insights for service and product improvements to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the successful implementation of agreed-upon sales strategies.
- Manage special projects as necessary.
- Experience in the dairy industry, feed/nutrition, animal health, or related sectors is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with farmers and clients.
- Strong customer service and negotiation capabilities.
- Detail-oriented and results-focused approach.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple client accounts.
- Proficiency in influencing across various sectors, including veterinary, nutrition, processing, and sales teams.
- Proven capacity to learn, apply, and convey technical/scientific knowledge.
- Strong sales abilities coupled with a strategic perspective.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Veterinary Medicine or Agriculture.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a competitive sales environment.
- International business experience, particularly with the Brazil-American business culture, is advantageous.
