Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients within the dairy industry, including farmers, veterinarians, feed companies, and consultants.
- Advocate for and market pioneering products that enhance efficiency and sustainability in the dairy domain.
- Identify new business prospects and formulate strategies to expand market share.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales director to meet sales objectives and revenue goals.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and product information to clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and data to refine sales tactics.
- Assist in drafting proposals, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), and negotiating contract details.
- Represent our organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, particularly in engagements with agricultural professionals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts with autonomy.
- Technical expertise in animal nutrition, veterinary medicine, or feed milling is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related discipline is essential.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the dairy, animal health, or feed/nutrition sectors.
- Familiarity with international business practices is preferred, especially regarding Brazil-American business culture.
- Experience in managing key accounts or strategic business development is desirable.
