Key Responsibilities
As you report to the Chief Relationship Officer, you will:
- Formulate and execute strategies for donor cultivation to enhance major gift relationships.
- Mentor and guide Development Directors in reaching their objectives.
- Architect and oversee a major giving program centered around donor engagement and retention.
- Develop impactful donor stewardship initiatives to foster meaningful connections.
- Conduct thorough research on donor portfolios and identify prospective contributors.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives, sharing insights with the team.
- Assist in the preparation for the annual audit.
- Adapt strategies to leverage emerging opportunities.
- Travel internationally to support program initiatives, including two annual trips to Zambia (7-14 days each) and additional weeks for summer programs.
