Job Overview

The Senior Director of Accounts and Partnerships is crucial in cultivating and enhancing relationships with pivotal clients within the life sciences sector. You will spearhead account management strategies that prioritize customer success while identifying and driving growth opportunities. Your extensive expertise will be instrumental in articulating measurable business value through effective communication and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies to foster client engagement in alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, prioritizing long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Identify and leverage upsell and cross-sell opportunities within client organizations.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with decision-makers to achieve common goals and explore future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to seek new partnerships and respond to RFPs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout their lifecycle.
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables to guarantee successful onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Address escalations and navigate complex issues while nurturing strong relationships.
  • Provide regular updates on accounts and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate client needs and monitor KPIs.
  • Contribute to the planning of customer-facing events, conferences, and feasibility studies.
  • Utilize client success stories to enhance marketing initiatives and content development.
  • Generate comprehensive reports that illustrate customer performance and ROI, analyzing outcomes to create additional value.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in managing and expanding key client relationships.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging C-suite executives.
  • Expertise in case study development, ROI analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while contributing to both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Familiarity with life sciences, CRO, or related industries is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and achieve growth objectives.
