Hybrid After-Hours MH Clinician | Remote WFH

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic After-Hours Mental Health Clinician to join our team in a hybrid remote capacity. This pivotal role involves providing crisis intervention and support to individuals facing mental health emergencies. Ideal candidates will be passionate about effecting positive change in the lives of those in distress, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis intervention services through both telephonic and in-person interactions.
• Evaluate the needs of individuals to guide appropriate referrals and service access.
• Conduct screenings for hospitalization and facilitate the transition to necessary care.
• Stay informed about community resources and refer clients accordingly.
• Maintain precise documentation of all clinical interactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with families, clients, and professionals to provide holistic support.
• Work closely with the Crisis and Intake Program Coordinator for supervision and professional guidance.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient computer skills for effective documentation and data management.
• Ability to assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychiatric Nursing.
• Active licensure in Kansas through the Behavioral Science Regulatory Board or Board of Nursing.
• At least one (1) year of post-degree experience in the mental health sector, including experience in assessment and diagnosis (preferred).
• Eligibility for Title XIX reimbursement is mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and capable of passing pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform job functions effectively, including computer tasks and travel to community agencies as needed.
  
  

Compensation

Salary: \(26.56 - \)44.14 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Evening shifts
• On-call rotations
