Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a pivotal liaison among digital risk, legal, compliance, procurement, and privacy teams to foster collaborative efforts.
- Provide strategic counsel regarding cybersecurity legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee supplier contract evaluations, including data security provisions and HIPAA Business Associate Agreements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to advance cybersecurity objectives.
- Administer a comprehensive cyber metrics program to monitor and report on digital risk initiatives and performance across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital risk professionals, ensuring effective resource allocation and program management.
- Establish and maintain a strategic Digital Risk Governance, Analytics, and Advisory program.
- Collaborate with external cybersecurity consultants to conduct assessments and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in information security.
- Proven ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts effectively and engage stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of supplier contract reviews pertaining to cybersecurity obligations.
- Expertise in compliance regulations, including FERPA, HIPAA, and related privacy/security laws.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and conducting cybersecurity audits and assessments.
- Strong leadership abilities, encompassing talent development, team management, and effective program execution.
- Capability to influence decision-making processes and achieve consensus across various departments.
- Advanced degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ITIL Foundation are advantageous.
