We are seeking a proactive and strategic Manager for our Digital Risk Governance, Analytics, and Advisory Services. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization against digital threats, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a dedicated team in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory Services (50%): Serve as the primary liaison between digital risk and internal departments (Legal, Risk, Ethics, Compliance, Audit, Procurement, Policy, and Privacy), promoting collaborative efforts. You will lead the negotiation of vendor contracts, focusing on data security and compliance.
- Analytics and Reporting (20%): Oversee a robust cyber metrics program, responsible for the collection and dissemination of data regarding digital risk management and performance metrics across the organization.
- Team Leadership (15%): Guide a team of Digital Risk professionals, managing resources and fostering a collaborative environment while mentoring and developing talent.
- Governance (15%): Design and implement an overarching Digital Risk strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and maintain relationships with external cybersecurity advisors.
- Over 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in Information Security.
- Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Expertise in vendor contract evaluations and information security protocols.
- Strong leadership capabilities within strategic management frameworks.
- Proficiency in compiling and presenting digital security performance reports to executive management.
- Experience in coordinating multi-functional teams during audits and assessments.
- Comprehensive understanding of privacy and security regulations (FERPA, HIPAA, etc.) and IT security as it pertains to sensitive data.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training in a related field is required.
- Advanced degrees and professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CRISC are preferred.
