Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service to enhance the brand’s reputation.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding equipment, quality, and service.
- Conduct effective analysis of inventory usage to ensure appropriate procurement and accurate data maintenance, optimizing rental costs.
- Contribute to both short-term and long-term procurement strategies for equipment.
- Exercise sound judgment in daily operational decisions.
- Engage daily with service and repair vendors to ensure the accuracy of information related to payments and rebilling for damages.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to confirm that all necessary documentation accompanies invoices prior to processing.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding service orders.
- Oversee inbound and outbound inspections of all equipment, ensuring prompt and accurate management of any damage.
- Manage repair and delivery vendors to ensure adherence to policies and industry standards.
- Ensure that all branch personnel perform their duties safely and productively, conducting regular safety meetings to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
- Foster a qualified team by clearly communicating responsibilities, accountability, and performance expectations, while promoting personal growth.
- Strong leadership qualities, coupled with budget and deadline management experience.
- Superior time management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills; negotiation skills are advantageous.
- Proficient in multitasking and managing a high volume of work efficiently.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet navigation.
- Experience in operating a switcher/yard jockey is beneficial, though not mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role is required; experience in semi-trailer maintenance, leasing, or fleet management is preferred and can serve as a substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous management experience is preferred.
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
