We are in search of a strategic and accomplished leader to become part of a rapidly expanding, privately-held organization within the veterinary sector. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 100-125 veterinary hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest, California, and Arizona. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is pivotal in driving operational excellence, achieving corporate objectives, and nurturing a collaborative culture across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage operations across a network of 100-125 veterinary hospitals, ensuring the achievement of performance benchmarks and operational excellence.
- Deliver strategic guidance and operational support to divisional leaders and regional managers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, supportive relationships with hospital leadership and staff to promote a positive, results-oriented culture.
- Facilitate the recruitment and retention of talented veterinarians and support staff.
- Oversee the integration of newly acquired hospitals to guarantee alignment with the organization’s high standards.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to support hospitals and collaborate with teams in the field.
