Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Intake Specialist to join our remote team as the initial point of contact in our background investigation process. This position is pivotal in coordinating data and streamlining communication across departments to ensure prompt and effective service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming background check requests, ensuring accurate data collection and efficient case setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage case transitions and uphold consistent service quality.
  • Assess and validate client information for completeness, addressing discrepancies to prevent delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of case intake activities in our case management system.
  • Prioritize tasks according to client needs, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Directly engage with clients to clarify information and build strong relationships.
  • Contribute to process enhancement by proposing ideas that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an intake, customer service, or administrative role; experience in healthcare, legal, social services, or background screening is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and record management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client service.
  • Familiarity with technology; experience with case management systems or CRM software is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes in a dynamic work environment.
