- Provide technical leadership to establish and execute the technical vision and architecture for applications, APIs, data pipelines, and AI/ML functionalities.
- Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing engineering teams, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and job satisfaction with oversight of nine direct reports and over 40 engineers.
- Tackle intricate challenges to architect and implement cross-functional solutions that enhance the platform’s capabilities.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable while upholding technical integrity.
- Collaborate strategically with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to meet ambitious business objectives.
- Direct engineering operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and operational processes while nurturing a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
- Expertise in contemporary architectures, such as microservices, monoliths, AI/ML, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in technologies and frameworks including React/Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Airflow, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities that balance technical proficiency with business impact.
