Remote Project Manager for Pension Initiatives

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Project Manager to spearhead a diverse range of pension-related projects and programs. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that each initiative is strategically aligned with the organization’s goals, employing industry-leading methodologies and tools to achieve success. You will be responsible for overseeing project scope, time, cost, and quality while cultivating robust collaboration and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project charters and detailed project plans.
• Manage budgets, monitor progress, and oversee estimates at completion (EAC).
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, and procurement.
• Lead medium to large-scale projects, ensuring alignment of deliverables with organizational objectives.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Facilitate consistent communication to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively or issues that may affect project outcomes.
• Maintain necessary governance controls for tracking and managing budgets, scope, and schedules.
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Support the prioritization of projects and assist in creating essential project documents including charters, risk assessments, and budgets.
  
  

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
• Strong negotiation and facilitation capabilities for effectively managing meetings and vendor relationships.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in complex environments.
• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, particularly regarding risk mitigation and scope management.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience with enterprise software implementations and resource management.
