Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Product Manager to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This role is open to candidates across North America, with a preference for those located near Atlanta, GA. In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping product development and strategic direction. You will have the unique opportunity to travel quarterly to our Atlanta headquarters, further enhancing collaboration and networking within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, services, and support to ensure product success and alignment.
  • Utilize your knowledge in IT automation, focusing on areas such as Job Scheduling, Workload Automation, and Service Orchestration & Automation Platforms (SOAP).
  • Spearhead the launch of new products and the rollout of updated versions for both SaaS and private cloud offerings.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the product portfolio to diverse stakeholders, from executives to end-users.
  • Partner with Agile teams to define product requirements, collect customer feedback, and ensure that offerings align with market needs.
  • Leverage your technical expertise in modern IT infrastructure, including cloud services, DevOps, and data platforms, to guide product innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technological trends such as AI/ML and Containers, and apply this knowledge to inform product strategy.
  • Engage with customers in various settings, from small group discussions to large events and webinars, fostering strong relationships.
  • Employ your problem-solving capabilities to manage complex customer challenges and escalations.
  • Understand the complete sales lifecycle of intricate IT solutions, from identifying buyer personas to assessing competitive positioning.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by shaping product positioning and identifying key innovation opportunities.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 25%, primarily within North America, with occasional international trips.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in an enterprise software environment, successfully managing cross-departmental relationships.
  • Profound understanding of IT automation solutions, with direct involvement in product management or senior roles.
  • Proven track record of launching products and successfully releasing new versions to market.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey product value to a wide array of stakeholders.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and the ability to translate customer input into actionable product features.
  • Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, data platforms, and legacy systems.
  • An enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to staying current on industry trends.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and presenting in diverse environments, including conferences and webinars.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in customer-facing situations.
  • Familiarity with the IT management sales process and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Significant experience in enterprise software and product management, with direct involvement in IT automation solutions.
